  The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council offers both in-person physical classes and online classes related to wildlife rehabilitation. Offerings for physical classes include basic wildlife rehabilitation, pain and wound management, parasitology, and zoonoses. Physical classes are offered at many different locations across the country throughout the year.   The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is responsible for managing and protecting Louisiana’s abundant natural resources. The department issues hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, as well as boat titles and registrations.

[Lesley Dunn; Great Lakes Cleanup Fund (Canada)]. Fish and Wildlife Habitat Habitat Resources Program. The Habitat Resources Program provides guidance for land-use activities in Oregon that affect fish and wildlife habitats.

These recommendations are provided to the state, federal and local. Habitat is a combination of environmental factors that provides food, water, cover and space that a living thing needs to survive and reproduce.

Habitat types include: coastal and estuarine, rivers and streams, lakes and ponds, wetlands, riparian areas, deserts, grasslands/prairie, forests, coral reefs, marine, perennial snow and ice, and urban.

Enrollment in the program is for 5 years. Applicant must have access to equipment to implement practices to include site preparation, planting, spraying, burning and managing practices as required in the Wildlife Management Plan. Cannot use Acres for Wildlife funded practices on the same practice in another State or Federal program.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife welcomes volunteers who want to assist in activities that benefit fish, wildlife and habitat. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, including projects on state wildlife areas, water access sites, furthering conservation activities and hunter education through the Master Hunter program, and local projects that benefit salmon recovery.
